Iowa racetracks and casinos are seeing an impact from the recession.
Figures from the state Racing and Gaming Commission show that revenue for fiscal 2009 was down about $2.56 dollars from fiscal 2008.
Attendance at casinos was also down by about 243,000 at racetracks and about 536,00 at state.
Figures are from Iowa's three state-licensed racetrack casinos and 14 riverboats.
New fiscal numbers will likely be considered by commission members who meet next week to discuss gaming licenses for five Iowa counties.
