Former Governor Branstad is touring the state talking about his plans for the future. Republican Terry Branstad is making six campaign appearances over the next four weeks.
His first stop is Thursday night in Sac City. Branstad will also visit Fort Dodge, Centerville, Sioux City, Kalona and Cedar Rapids.
The former governor says he will visit with Iowans about their needs and concerns while sharing his vision for Iowa.
Branstad has not officially announced he's a candidate to challenge Chet Culver in the next gubernatorial election, but has filed the necessary paperwork to form committees and fundraise for his campaign.
