Road closed after culvert collapses (WHO) |
The heavy rains caused a culvert to collapse in Guthrie County. The culvert is considered a major short-cut between Guthrie Center and Adair, and is just north of Adair.
The Guthrie County maintenance supervisor says the culvert collapsed forcing a ditch to fill up with water. The water is creeping towards the highway and that forced the county to shut down Frontier Road between Adair and Guthrie Center.
The county says the road will remain closed until Monday night.
