Firefighters are on the scene of a fire in the flood-damaged Czech Village in Cedar Rapids.

Officials say the fire was reported about 6 a.m. Thursday. No injuries are reported, but at least three homes have been damaged.

The homes are all vacant and were damaged in the June 2008 flood. Fire crews say there is no electricity to the houses.

The Czech Village is a neighborhood where many Central European immigrants settled in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The historic district includes the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library, which opened in 1995.
