The Iowa Hawkeye men's basketball team goes into next season at a loss. After a disappointing season, four Hawkeyes have announced plans to transfer from the University of Iowa.
Second-year head coach Todd Lickliter told reporters at a Friday afternoon news conference that Jake Kelly, Jeff Peterson, David Palmer, and Jermain Davis are all leaving the program.
Jake Kelly's father told a Terre Haute newspaper his son is transferring to Indiana State because he wants to be closer to home. Kelly was the Hawks' leading scorer.
Peterson was the starting point guard for Iowa until he suffered a hamstring injury
