You have lots of options when it comes to working up a sweat in the metro. Now, there's a new one. It's called Kosama.
Participant Kyle Shupe says he wanted to kick off the new year with a new workout. He says, "Most of my workouts were just lifting weights, playing sports. This is a whole different ball game for me."
Kosama is a ten week complete body transformation course. Classes are an hour six days a week, and it's always something different. Co-found Kory Pohlman says, "We have yoga, upper body strength, lower body strength, kettleballs and kombat kickboxing."
Pohlman says the course also includes an online meal plan. He says, "They log on, put their meals in, or they can just choose a meal plan. So, they have a meal plan for everyday they can follow that has the exact calories they need to achieve their goals."
Pohlman says the first session started in January. More than 200 people signed up. He says they have plans to add locations throughout the metro. He says, "We're going to continue to grow, continue to motivate, continue to change lives."
Shupe says the program has changed his life already. He dropped thirteen pounds in just four weeks. But, he says, "I'm trying not to focus on the numbers, but the clothes fit better, and I just feel better, have more energy throughout the day."
