Investigators are looking for the cause of an early morning fire in the southwest Iowa town of Lorimor. The fire broke out around 2:00 Thursday morning at the corner of 1st and Kansas.
When firefighters arrived, flames could be seen shooting from every window of the house. Officials say no one was inside the home at the time of the fire and neighbors say the people living there had just moved out.
The Afton Fire Department was called in to assist and the Winterset Fire Department was placed on standby.
