Creator Rick Galbreath has worked in the music industry and between his own equipment and equipment purchased through grant money, Des Moines area kids can now create and record their own industry quality music.
Galbreath has shown the group Mchael Jackson's concert footage to show them what can be accomplished through hard work in any career. Galbreath says despite the pop star's personal problems his story can be used to teach his kids.
"We just want them to know it takes hard work, and you're gonna get knocked down. But if you don't get knocked down, how you gonna learn to get back up?" says Galbreath.
Galbreath says as many as 50 kids will visit the Music In the Metro studio every weekday during the summer.
