Investigators with the Federal Aviation Administration are in the small southern Iowa town of Murray in Clarke County trying to figure out what caused a small plane to crash.
The Clarke County Sheriff's Office say 2-people in the plane were life flighted to Des Moines hospitals.
The pilot, Michael Hudson of Afton was treated and released. A passenger in the plane, Justin Staber of Murray is listed in fair condition at Mercy Medical Center.
According to FAA record, the plane was a Taylorcraft BC 12-D. That's a fixed-wing, single-engine aircraft with two seats.
Authorities say it will take about 2-weeks to complete the investigation.
