SNOW ASSISTANCE: More Iowa counties are getting help from the state to dig out from the latest winter storm
State resources are now going out to two more snow covered counties. Wednesday, Governor Culver added Monona and Audubon counties to his emergency proclamation.

That means the Iowa Department of Transportation will begin helping the counties dig out from the recent winter storm. Everything, from plows to people for traffic control, is moving in to help.

Tuesday, Culver issued a proclamation for Crawford, Harrison, Pottawattamie and Shelby counties.
