Jail Time for Noel Miller |
September 20, 2007--The mother of a slain Floyd County girl has been sentenced to two days in jail for carrying a concealed weapon. Police arrested Noel Miller in January. Miller called 911, and was found hiding a six-inch kitchen knife in her sleeve when police arrived.
Her daughter, Evelyn Miller, disappeared in July of 2005 from their Floyd home. Evelyn's body was found days later in the Cedar River. Her death remains unsolved, and no suspects have been named.
