Floyd County, May 9, 2007--- The mother of a slain child has turned herself in after an arrest warrant was issued on a weapons charge.
The Floyd County Sheriff says Noel Miller turned herself in before the warrant could be served.
The warrant was issed for Miller when she missed a hearing regarding a charge of going armed with intent. Miller is accused of calling 9-1-1 last December and concealing a knife when police arrived.
Miller is the mother of Evelyn Miller, the 5-year-old disappeared in July of 2005. Her body was found several days later in the Cedar River. Her slaying remains unsolved.
