Unsolved Fort Dodge Murder |
October 3, 2007- A Fort Dodge mother is offering a $10,000 plea for help to catch her daughter's killer. Twenty-three-year-old Lisa McCuddin was gunned down three years ago Tuesday. She left behind two young children. "Three years since her kids have seen her, three years since you've been able to hold her and tell her you love her and three years of them still having their freedom," says mother Becky McCuddin.
Police have yet to make an arrest in the case. Lisa's family believes her killer still lives in the community. Just last month, they put up flyers offering to pay the reward for information that will put her killer behind bars. "It's hard to live everyday knowing they're enjoying their family and I'm here without part of mine," says McCuddin.
Since the $10,000 reward was offered, there have been a few new leads. The Division of Criminal Investigation is handling the case.
