December 30, 2008--Dallas Center firefighters had to rescue a man from the inside of a water tower Tuesday, after he fell off a ladder. The fire department tells us the man was welding on the inside of the tower when he fell 15 feet.
Rescuers had to use a crane and ropes to get to the man. They say a small opening in the top of the tower was the only access point to him. He was transported to Methodist Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
