CAMP EGGERS, Afghanistan—
Troops serving in Afghanistan paused to honor their fallen comrades at a Memorial Day Service at Camp Eggers.The soldiers lit candles and shared a moment of silence to thank those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The base is named after Captain Dave Eggers, a Special Forces officer who was killed in Kandahar in 2004. Eggers left behind a wife and two children.
